"The Domaine de Montille has a history that dates back to the 1730's. Hubert de Montille took over the domaine in 1947 who skyrocketed the family to one of the top estates in Burgundy. Etienne de Montille grew up observing his fathers footsteps but has expanded its vineyards and transitioned the vineayrds to organic and biodynmaic farming. "The 2019 Meursault Saint-Christophe unwinds in the glass with aromas of pear, wheat toast, praline and a deft touch of youthful reduction. Medium-bodied, taut and fine-boned, with racy acids and a delicate core of fruit, it concludes with a saline finish. This will unwind with bottle age to reveal more texture and amplitude. As usual, it's a cuvée composed from holdings in Casse-Tête, Petits Charrons and Narvaux du Dessous."
