Aurelio Settimo founded his winery in 1962. Now run by daughter Tiziana, the philosophy remains the same - focus on quality and respect for tradition. In addition to Langhe, they produce Nebbiolo from Barolo, and from the highly esteemed Barolo cru of Rocche dell'Annunziata.
Piemonte’s Langhe DOC surrounds the exalted locales of Barolo and Barbaresco, where the finest (and more expensive) Nebbiolo wines are produced. At the Settimo estate, the winemaking is traditional, with no new barrels in use. It’s all about letting the terroir speak to the taster
Notes of redcurrants, orange zest, plums and mushrooms on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with sleek tannins. Juicy on the palate with vivid acidity. Drink or hold.
