There is almost a pinot-esque quality to the Barbaresco which is gorgeously colored with pale red rose. Aromas are flowing and ethereal with pure rose petal and briary fruit. The palate brings raspberry, pitted cherry, and a touch of fine herb.
Manuel's story is different from many which have been told up until now. There is no dynasty of viticulturists or landowners to tell about or a brand that for decades has been on the international market. It must be mentioned that he did everything all by himself. After getting his diploma from Alba’s Umberto I High School, he put his winemaking talent into practice in Diano d’Alba, Barolo, in Umbria and in the region of Champagne. When he came back to Langhe, in 2002 he started his own business with the rental of the first lands and in 2004 made his first wine. Today the company produces 20,000 bottles a year and has 4 ha of vineyards. Manuel Marinacci, winemaking technician, personally takes care of working the land, cultivating the vineyards and vinification.
